Job Title: Install Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced team lead or Foreman to lead one of our installation teams in providing top-quality fencing, decking, and general construction solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and hands-on experience in fencing, decking, concrete work, carpentry (or all the above) installation projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities
- The Team Lead--Foreman is a working position, leading a team on install projects, typically overseeing 1-2 partners on projects to completion, prepping and assembling the team at the shop each morning, driving the company rig to jobsites.
- The Foreman is the face and first/last line to the customer on the job, customer service accument is an absolute necessity.
- Meet with project managers onsite to walk the site with customer and game plan the project.
- Complete all prework to prep the site for construction i.e. walking the site with your team, taping/staking/lining/spraying/digging.
- Installation of various types of decking, fencing, partition wall, retaining wallincluding chain link, wood, vinyl, ornamental iron, and farm fencing.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
- Utilize welding equipment, digging tools, bobcats, and both hand and power tools for installation tasks.
- Adhere to and promote all safety policies and practices, reporting any safety concerns to the install manager.
- Engage with customers to address their specific needs and concerns.
- Interpret and follow materials specifications and materials lists from drawings.
- Load installation trucks with necessary materials for each job.
- Occasional travel out of town for projects may require overnight stays, gracious perdiem provided.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a spirit of cooperation.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Respectfully follow directions from management.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a lead on a crew of 2 or more people, demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Proficiency in installation, framing, and use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand fence material specifications.
Shift & Pay
- Starting pay is $25-30/hr. depending on experience wtha 90-day review and check in.
- Monday - Friday 6am start in the shop, hours may vary from 3pm-5pm project/job site dependent.
- The majority of our positions are city/county/state projects that pay a prevailing wage.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in roles such as farm hand, construction laborer, framer, carpenter.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting/moving over 100 pounds and digging into solid earth or rock.
- Ability to work overtime
- Strong understanding of product specifications and material handling.

Work Environment
This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, hail, snow, and sunny PNW days. Employees are exposed to cement products and are required to use appropriate PPE. The work environment is typically loud, and the position may require occasional overnight travel. Physical demands include standing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and handling heavy materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
