Quality Control Technician


We are seeking a QC Technician for our client - a company at the forefront of the personal care sector - to test raw materials and production batches to ensure products meet all quality and regulatory standards. This role involves analyzing results, maintaining accurate records, supporting lab operations, and following established safety and compliance requirements.


Type: Direct Hire

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, Rotating Shifts (6a-4p, 2p-12a, and 8p-6a)

Location: Mecklenburg County, NC

Rate: $30/hr


Duties:

  • Perform and document testing on raw materials and finished products.
  • Analyze data, report results, and flag out-of-spec findings.
  • Maintain product retain samples, lab supplies, and equipment.
  • Support calibration, troubleshooting, and general upkeep of lab instruments.
  • Follow ISO, safety, and compliance guidelines while promoting a clean, safe work environment.
  • Provide shift flexibility and assist with additional lab tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field is highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of lab experience, ideally in quality control or manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of lab techniques, chemical analysis, and quality systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with data entry and lab software (LIMS preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and wear standard PPE.
