- Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU); float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed\n
- Contract Duration: 13-week nursing contract\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Shift: Every other weekend required; 1 holiday per contract if needed\n
- Start Date: January 12, 2026\n
- Charting System: Cerner EMR\n
- Scrub Color: Navy\n
- Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49\n
\n\nICU Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required; PCU nursing experience preferred\n
- Cardiac ICU experience highly valued\n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state\n
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)\n
- Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed\n
- Must complete all healthcare orientation requirements as scheduled\n
- Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO) permitted\n
\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n

- Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process to meet the needs of patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team\n
- Coordinate, communicate, and evaluate patient care in compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards\n
- Float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as required\n
- Participate in all required orientation and training sessions, including virtual and in-person classes\n
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR\n
- Maintain professionalism and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment\n
