Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer-CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and optimizing CNC machines to ensure efficient and precise manufacturing processes. This role is crucial in enhancing production capabilities and maintaining quality standards in our aerospace manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement CNC programs for various machining operations.
  • Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new products.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including BOMs, control plans, and shop routings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Conduct training sessions for operators on CNC equipment and best practices.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in CNC programming, preferably with MasterCAM.
  • Familiarity with 5-axis CNC machines and CNC mills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of BOMs, control plans, and shop routings.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
