We are seeking multiple dedicated full-time and part-time, skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals and performing diagnostic imaging procedures, to assist in the evaluation of patients' medical conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as per established protocols.
- Perform nuclear medicine scans and imaging procedures.
- Prepare and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine imaging.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Educate patients on the procedure process and address any concerns or questions.
- Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in nuclear medicine techniques and diagnostic evaluation.
- Experience with medical imaging equipment and procedures.
- Familiarity with aseptic technique practices in a clinical setting.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
