Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential maternity leave coverage across multiple elementary and middle school settings in the Minneapolis area. This leave position offers a structured 3:1 service model, focusing on delivering direct therapy services with no evaluation responsibilities, making it ideal for professionals ready to make an immediate impact in school-based speech-language services.

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite at various schools in Minneapolis and surrounding areas
  • Duration: December 15, 2025, through May 29, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Caseload: Typical elementary school caseload including students in Setting III CDC; therapy-only caseload without evaluation duties
  • Service Model: 3 weeks of direct therapy followed by 1 week of indirect services
  • Multiple placements covering maternity leaves at elementary schools in Brooklyn Center and Blaine, as well as at Roosevelt Middle School

Qualifications:

  • Current SLP licensure with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Eligibility and openness to Certified Fellows (CF) rather than SLPA candidates
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload including students who require specialized support in CDC settings
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with school teams and families
