We’re seeking detail‐driven Monitor Technicians to support patient care by continuously observing and interpreting cardiac rhythms. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in early detection of cardiac changes—helping clinical teams respond quickly and effectively.
Schedule
- 7a or 7p | 12‐Hour Shifts
- Per Diem flexibility
What You’ll Do
- Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry and EKG systems
- Identify and recognize abnormal rhythms, arrhythmias, and critical changes in patient status
- Promptly notify nursing or medical staff of significant rhythm changes or concerns
- Accurately document rhythm interpretations and monitoring data in the electronic medical record
- Maintain proper function of monitoring equipment and report equipment issues as needed
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support patient safety and quality care

What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Monitor Technician, Telemetry Tech, or EKG Technician required
- EKG/Telemetry certification preferred
- BLS or CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and rhythm interpretation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain focus for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
