Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade at a dynamic school in Palo Alto, CA. This contract position spans 3 to 4 months during the 2025-2026 school year and is onsite, offering a full-time schedule of 35-40 hours per week. The role provides meaningful work in a K-12 educational setting with the chance to make a positive impact on student communication and learning development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting licensed Speech Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students.
- Implementing individualized therapy plans under supervision.
- Collaborating with educators and staff to support students communication needs.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports on student progress.
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license required.
