POSITION SUMMARY
This position will supervise, train, and inspect the performance of the facility team to ensure that all procedures are completed to the highest standards. The facility team is responsible for the cleanliness of all spaces on campus and transportation team. This role will assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.
Provide an experience to our guests that show the highest levels of care and concern.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Responsible for maintaining an elevated level of cleanliness in all public and heart of the house spaces. This includes trash removal and cleaning public restrooms.
Ensure all guest requests are being responded to in an appropriate manner and timely.
Responsible to ensure each space is reset as groups come and go. This includes ensuring furniture is put back in the proper place throughout the buildings and outdoor patios.
Coach team members on job performance. Escalate any performance challenges to facility manager.
Assist team with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum cleanliness and service standards for guests.
Oversee transportation of guests and team members including the cleanliness upkeep and supplies on all transportation vehicles.
Support Facility manager to ensure readiness of linens and supplies for all departure days.
Support Facility manager to ensure 3rd party guest room cleaners are scheduled for departure days.
Support Facility manager to ensure supply orders meet business level needs.
Assist guests with any needs or requests they have during their time with us.
Coordinate team and ensure guest luggage is moved on arrival and departure days to and from the welcome building.
Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities for each day.
Assist the core team on departure days to ensure the room turnover process is going smoothly.
Inspect guest cabins to ensure they meet standards prior to the next guest’s arrival.
Maintain orderly supply and storage spaces.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, and use of equipment.
Ensure chemicals are labelled appropriately.
Collaborate with other hotel staff to address overnight needs and ensure smooth operations.
Document and report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or guest concerns.
Ensure safety protocols are followed.
Escalate any guest or safety issues to department leaders.

Abilities and requirements
