Critical Care Float Pool RN Needed Duluth, MN
Position: Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Duluth, Minnesota
Start Date: ASAP (November start dates preferred)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Variable Shifts (Day and Night Rotation)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Facility: Aspirus St. Lukes
Soliant Health is seeking experienced and adaptable Critical Care Float Pool RNs for exciting travel opportunities at Aspirus St. Lukes in Duluth, MN. This is a fantastic chance to expand your nursing skills in a dynamic and supportive healthcare setting.
Job Details:
- Openings: Multiple positions available
- Radius Rule: Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Float Requirements: Will float between critical care units, including Critical Care, Cardiac ICU, and IMC. May also float to lower-acuity units based on census and need.
- On-Call: Not required
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Requirements:
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Active MN RN License
- BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Preferred: TNCC and CCRN
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (preferably critical care)
- Recent critical care experience within the last 3 years preferred
- Previous travel assignment experience is a plus
- Charting: Meditech experience preferred
Unit Responsibilities:
- Float between critical care, cardiac ICU, and IMC units.
- Deliver exceptional care, incorporating patient needs, expectations, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and ensure pliance with Core Measures for stroke and cardiac patients.
- Perform nursing rounds incorporating the 7 Ps of rounding.
- Report and address abnormal diagnostic data.
- Provide age-appropriate care and maintain effective munication with patients and families.
