Position Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist (Direct Hire) provides comprehensive screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation services for patients experiencing speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, or fluency disorders. This role develops and implements individualized treatment plans, documents all care provided, and maintains clinical data to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The SLP demonstrates strong clinical competence and delivers age-appropriate, evidence-based care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current AZ License through ADHS
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA OR eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision
- 1 year of previous experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams
- Proficiency in computer applications used in patient care settings
Certifications (AHA):
- BLS required
