Radix Chiropractic Assistant (CA) Job Description:
An assistant is someone who helps or assists with another person. In this case, the Chiropractic Assistant assists the Chiropractor in managing patients in a Chiropractic practice. She or he serves as the primary customer service representative for the Chiropractic practice. This position reports directly to the Office Manager.
The CA is often the first point of contact for a new patient. A patient’s first impression usually sticks with them and can actually impact their decision-making process when it comes to choosing a Chiropractic office. It is extremely important that the CA demonstrates a friendly and helpful demeanor at all times.
Task Overview:
-Greeting patients as they enter the office
-Receiving and returning phone calls
-Scheduling patients for their appointments per the doctor's recommendations
-Patient check out and collecting payments
-Patient file and account management
-Daily office cleaning
-Assisting the Doctor and Office Manager as needed
-Keeps office paperwork up to date
-Other tasks as assigned
-Taking X-rays (Training will be provided)
Skills Required
Computer skills: including but not limited to PC and Microsoft Office
Excellent customer service
Basic math skills
Clear verbal and written communication
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following traits: Detail-oriented, reliable, teachable, flexible, punctual, outgoing, friendly, able to work independently and as a part of the team, able to multitask and follow through tasks to completion, and able to make sales and be assertive in a friendly manner.
Weekly Schedule
Monday 8:00-11:30, Wednesday 1:15-6:00, Thursday 1:15-6:00
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour (regular raises with good work)
Expected hours: 12-15 hours per week.
