Job DescriptionAre you an enthusiastic worker with strong organization and customer service skills? Then you could be what we are looking for in a server assistant/busser. You will work closely with our servers and help them deliver food to customers’ tables, as well as clear, clean, and reset each table with tableware to get it ready for the next party. You’ll bring customers to their tables, address their inquiries, and alert servers when their attention is needed. You should be familiar with the menu as well as food safety rules. Attention to detail and organization is important since you’ll be regularly restocking items in the kitchen and server stations. If you have some food service experience, like working in a fast-paced setting and closely with team members, apply for this role as soon as possible!Compensation:
$12 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Bring customers beverages, refill glasses, bring extra plates or napkins to customers, and make sure condiments are refilled and brought to the table
- Keep track of kitchen inventory to make sure kitchen and server stations are fully stocked with all the supplies needed
- Responsible for delivering food to the table on time, making sure to ask if customers need anything more before leaving
- Show customers to their tables, address any requests from customers, and respond to them in a timely manner
- Reset tables for the next guests by clearing away dirty dishes, and setting new place settings, napkins, and silverware
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of proper handling of food items and various kitchen tools
- Previous food service industry or QSR experience is preferred but not mandatory
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
- Can stand on feet for extended periods of time, bend and lift for the shift’s duration as needed
- Prepared to work nights, weekends, some holidays and help out team members with shifts when needed
- Must have or obtain Food Handlers Card
