Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to medical-surgical, orthopedic/spine, trauma, and psych medical hold patients.
• Perform general procedures including post-catheterizations (non-interventional), laparoscopic appendectomy/cholecystectomy care, thoracentesis/paracentesis, and specialized care supported by interventional radiology.
• Utilize advanced assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively.
• Collaborate with RN/LPN teams and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Familiarity with equipment such as Alaris pumps, remote telemetry, wound vacs, and specialty beds.
• Ability to participate in flexible scheduling, including at least one weekend per four-week period.
