 Respiratory Therapist Essential Duties
<ul>
<li>
Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by the physician
</li>
<li>
Assess and monitor resident respiratory status during routine treatments and rounds
</li>
<li>
Identify changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to nursing and providers
</li>
<li>
Assist with management of oxygen therapy and oxygen equipment
</li>
<li>
Monitor residents utilizing respiratory devices and therapies
</li>
<li>
Perform routing respiratory assessment including breath sounds, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and treatment effectiveness
</li>
<li>
Recognize early sign of respiratory decline and initiate appropriate communication and intervention
</li>
</ul>
 Respiratory Qualifications
 Required
<ul>
<li>
Current Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) license in good standing
</li>
<li>
Current BLS certification
</li>
</ul>
 Preferred
<ul>
<li>
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care
</li>
<li>
ACLS certification
</li>
</ul>
