Pride Health is hiring a highly experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Virginia, MN 55792 for a 13-week contract.
Job Description:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services using radionuclides to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and delivery of high-quality diagnostic images in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and CT imaging.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and safety protocols.
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment independently.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists and referring physicians.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
- Adhere to all state, federal, and accrediting body regulations.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification – Required
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Nuclear Medicine program – Required
- Active state licensure as required
- Ability to work independently in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine, PET, and CT procedures

- Location: Virginia, MN 55792
- Schedule: Day – 5x8-Hour Shifts | 40 hours/week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $70 - $83/hour
(*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
