Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers to support students across grades K-12 in a full-time, onsite contract position located in Gridley, California. This role involves working with diverse learners in specialized day class programs, with potential specialization options in elementary, middle, high school, or early childhood education.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborating with general education teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and behavior
- Participating in team meetings and parent conferences
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications:
- Active California teaching credential in Special Education is required
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to implement evidence-based instructional strategies
- Flexibility to work full-time onsite at a school location

- Contract position starting as soon as possible through June 5, 2026
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
