Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and resources for a variety of construction projects, including commercial, healthcare, and public works. Your expertise will be crucial in the preconstruction phase, helping to ensure the feasibility and profitability of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Conduct market research to assess labor and material costs.
- Prepare bid proposals and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor and adjust estimates as project details change or new information arises.
- Assist in the preconstruction planning and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Familiarity with commercial, healthcare, and public works projects.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
