United Flea Markets is a rapidly growing company headquartered in Henderson, CO. To support our continued growth, we are seeking an AP & Accounting Associate/Clerk to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the Controller.

Position Summary
The AP & Accounting Associate/Clerk supports the Finance team by processing accounts payable, assisting with month-end close activities, and maintaining accurate financial records. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail, timely execution, compliance with internal controls, and consistent follow-through.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and documentation
- Prepare payment batches and support check and EFT processing in accordance with company controls
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, accrual support, and account reconciliations
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet and bank accounts and resolve variances
- Monitor company credit card transactions and ensure receipt compliance
- Support audit requests and maintain well-organized financial records
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow established processes
- Effective communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Education and/or Training
- High school diploma with 3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience or
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred

Pay range: $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience.
