Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and with experience in pediatric settings. The contract runs for the current school year, with potential for contract-to-hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across grades K-12.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and monitor student outcomes.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage caseload effectively within a school environment.
  • Commitment to supporting student growth and academic success.

Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Duration: Current school year contract, with contract-to-hire opportunity
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
