Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vessel Welder to join our team. The role involves preparing parts and welding components into assemblies, executing welds according to company procedures, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will also propose new methods to improve efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts and weld components into assemblies following production orders.
- Execute welds in accordance with company's procedures and documents.
- Meet defined quality standards for all welding tasks.
- Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
Essential Skills
- 3 to 5 years of MIG/TIG welding experience on carbon steel.
- 3 to 5 years of blueprint utilization.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in welding/fabrication including cutting, punching, and grinding.
- Experience in welding pipe or pressure vessels/pressure tanks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with certifications in welding in accordance with ASME standards.
- Ability to read and apply Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and drawings/blueprints.
- Strong aptitude for problem-solving and teamwork.
- Methodical, organized, and precise.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, comfortable, and organized weld shop/machine shop. This position is for the 2nd shift, with initial training provided on the first shift.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70720.00/yr.
