NOW HIRING: Critical Care Nurse
Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity to provide skilled, high-level care to patients in a critical care environment? Look no further! The Arlington Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center, in Birmingham, AL is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team as a Critical Care Nurse to serve our unique Medical Specialty Unit (MSU). This unit serves residents with higher acuity medical needs that require specialized attention and care to achieve the ideal rehabilitative outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Alabama
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines
- 2+ years of experience in a critical care environment preferred (ICU, Med Surge)
- Supervisory experience a plus
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Must have a comfort and positive attitude in communicating with the elderly who have multiple nursing care needs
