We are looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to lead the marketing and communication strategies for a biotechnology company in Vancouver, Washington. This role focuses on creating impactful content, managing digital campaigns, and enhancing the company’s online presence through innovative initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to the team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the company’s social media platforms, including scheduling, content creation, and audience engagement.
• Develop and publish engaging content such as blog posts, newsletters, and web copy, translating complex technical topics into accessible formats.
• Monitor digital channels for brand mentions and engagement opportunities, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
• Stay informed about digital marketing trends and apply best practices tailored to the biotechnology and innovation sectors.
• Analyze performance metrics for online campaigns, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and a seamless user experience.
• Create or support the development of visual assets, including basic graphic design, layouts, and videos.
• Collaborate with internal experts and external partners to source, edit, and produce high-quality technical and brand content.
• Oversee freelance and contract contributors, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in marketing, particularly within technology, innovation, or science-focused industries.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, WordPress, and Google Analytics, with a portfolio showcasing digital assets.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with a background in thought leadership or press content creation.
• Strong project management abilities with a proven track record of handling multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Self-motivated individual with sound judgment and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and strategies for effective audience outreach.
• Knowledge of content marketing strategies to drive engagement and brand visibility.
