An elementary school in Cantonment, FL, seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students during the current school year under a contract position. This role offers a structured 40-hour workweek with designated time for paperwork and documentation, ensuring a well-balanced schedule without additional duties such as bus or car rider supervision.

Key responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students across general education and self-contained special education classrooms. The candidate will collaborate closely with district-level support specialists, including SLI Staffing Specialists, an AAC specialist, and an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Director with an SLP background, to deliver quality care and streamline administrative tasks.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Certification and/or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus in pediatrics and school settings
• Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
• Eligibility to work under a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is welcomed
• Experience working with K-12 students, including those in special education programs
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage a considerable caseload effectively
