Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for supporting production activities to meet daily customer demand and production schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role involves assembling and testing products using specialized equipment and following established procedures within a controlled manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test products using specialized equipment, fixtures, and work instructions
- Perform manufacturing operations to produce and assemble products according to specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times
- Work with Manufacturing Leads or Specialists to meet production schedules and customer demand
- Participate in basic problem-solving activities to support stable production operations
- Report issues related to quality, processes, equipment, materials, or labor to supervisors
- Follow and maintain standard work procedures and documentation requirements
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support lean manufacturing practices
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in alignment with 5S principles
- Collaborate as an active member of the production team to support overall manufacturing processes
- Follow company quality system policies and complete required regulatory documentation
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Experience in medical device manufacturing
- Experience working with microscopes
- Basic problem-solving and analytical skills
