Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a high school caseload within a K-12 school setting in Hillsboro, OR, on a part-time contract basis. The assignment runs from February 19, 2026, through May 14, 2026, covering a maternity leave. This is an on-site role requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
Location: Hillsboro, Oregon (Portland area)
Assignment Duration: 2/19/2026 5/14/2026
Work Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Caseload: High school students, exact school location to be confirmed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state-issued license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 age groups, particularly high school students
- 0+ years of experience accepted, with preferred ranges up to 10+ years
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with school teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Assess and evaluate students speech and language development
- Develop and implement therapy plans to address communication disorders
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
