The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at our organization has a rich history of pioneering advancements in women's reproductive health care. We are known for developing the Apgar score to evaluate newborn health, being the first in the nation to conduct an amniocentesis, and for creating RhoGAM, which has nearly eliminated Rh-incompatibility reactions that previously led to numerous fetal and neonatal fatalities and health issues annually.
Situated within the vibrant medical community of CUIMC, our team comprises over 100 physicians and more than 40 post-graduate residents and fellows. Together, we collaborate with researchers and clinicians to address the health care needs of women. Our commitment remains steadfast in delivering exceptional patient care, training the next generation of Ob/Gyn leaders, supporting innovative research, and integrating these advancements into clinical practice.
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a faculty member in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join the Allen Hospital Division. We invite applications from full-time board-certified or board-eligible candidates to engage in the clinical and academic activities of our dynamic department. Multiple openings are available.
The role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient care, general obstetrics and gynecology practice, as well as gynecologic surgery. Successful applicants will demonstrate a strong dedication to clinical care, research, and the education of residents and medical students. Candidates will be expected to provide high-quality care at community health centers affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital, particularly in the Washington Heights & Inwood areas. Minimum Qualifications:

Medical Degree from an accredited institution

Valid New York Medical License

Board Eligible or Board Certified
