Job Title: Production Lead - 2nd Shift - Full Time
Location: San Leandro, CA
Pay: $25/hr
Job Description
The Production Lead is responsible for supporting second-shift operations by overseeing daily production activities, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves leading by example, supporting team performance, and collaborating with management to achieve production goals while adhering to company policies and GMP standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production, batch, and packaging activities to meet output targets.
- Maintain product quality, consistency, and proper use of raw and packaging materials.
- Lead, train, and support production staff to promote safety, efficiency, and retention.
- Coordinate schedules, cover absences, and support overtime control.
- Communicate professionally with team members and management; address concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized department that meets company standards.
- Enforce GMP, safety, and company policies; lead by example at all times.
- Direct daily activities including breaks, lunches, and workflow as needed.
- Support operations in Supervisor’s absence and assist with problem-solving.
- Show flexible availability, including extended hours or days off when required.
Essential Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse production environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work second shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with packing, labeling, and preparing products in fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environments.
- Knowledgeable in warehouse workflows, production processes, and teamwork within high-volume manufacturing settings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
