Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work within an elementary school setting in Whittier, CA. This position offers 20-25 hours per week, starting immediately, with an assignment ending on June 12, 2026. The caseload will focus on elementary students, providing valuable therapy support aligned with school-based needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students onsite
  • Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed
  • Participate in meetings and maintain documentation in compliance with educational and licensure requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active occupational therapy assistant license in California
  • Proven school-based experience, preferably working with elementary-aged children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to conduct sessions in a school environment and work collaboratively within a team
