Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on growing market share in the energy sector (renewables, grid solutions, energy management services, etc.).
- Lead and scale the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets across multiple markets (e.g., B2B, B2G, industrial clients).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, government agencies, EPC contractors, and large commercial clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances in the energy space.
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to shape customer proposals and ensure alignment with project feasibility and delivery timelines.
- Oversee bid management, contract negotiation, and closing of high-value energy projects.
- Monitor energy market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to refine sales approach.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize pipeline management and forecasting.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, regulatory forums, and trade shows.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or a related field (MBA or technical degree preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of sales leadership experience in the energy sector — ideally in renewables, energy efficiency, grid infrastructure, or energy-as-a-service models.
- Deep understanding of the energy market landscape, government incentives, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven experience managing long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments (e.g., public tenders, RFPs, PPA contracts).
- Experience working with SalesForce
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Proficient in CRM tools and data-driven sales processes.
