Job DescriptionJourneyman Carpenter – Commercial Construction (Denver Metro)
Full-Time | Denver Metro + occasional work in Mead & Colorado Springs

We are looking for a Lead Carpenter to support all phases of commercial construction. If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, keeps crews moving, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work, this is your spot.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and work alongside carpenters on all phases of commercial builds (schools, healthcare, community facilities, TI, and more)
- Perform rough, finish, and specialty carpentry with precision
- Support Foremen with site coordination and daily workflow
- Assist with subcontractor interaction as needed
- Operate equipment occasionally (forklift, skid steer, scissor lift, boom lift)
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and uphold high-quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter on commercial projects
- Strong skills across all carpentry phases
- Ability to read plans, take direction, and keep teams productive
- Self‑starter with strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Reliable, safety‑minded, and able to set the tone for the crew
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with commercial new builds or institutional projects
- CITC or union apprenticeship training
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- Equipment certifications (a plus)
- SCIF experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
