Our client, a nationally accredited Electrical Contractor, is seeking a motivated Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Denver, CO. This position will support and assist the project team with administrative tasks.
Our client is a Colorado-based electrical design-build contractor with national reach specializing in industrial, heavy commercial, water/wastewater, data centers, electrical service, and maintenance. Support Tasks Include:
- Travel Coordination.
- Pre-bid job set up.
- Assist in project statistics such as:
- Effective sales tax rate.
- AHJ requirements for permitting/fees/etc.
- Utility requirement.
- Vendor Management.
- Support Prizm RFQ and coordination of quotes, etc.
- Licensing.
- Project setup.
- Permitting.
- OSHA/State location specific requirements.
- Site specific safety plan.
- Document efforts to and from field as needed.
- Project Document Control.
- Maintain, organize, be informed of SharePoint regarding job folders.
- Support projects by providing administrative and clerical support, completing special projects, and working with Project Managers.
- Project Updates (Weekly).
- Submittals.
- O&M's & Warrant Letters.
- Panel Schedules.
- Material Logs.
- RFI Logs.
- Change Orders.
- Project Support.
- Site specific support.
- Material procurement and quality control with field.
- Coordinate delivery schedules of material and equipment.
- Support with closing punch list.
- Continually build, develop, and grow vendor, sub-contractor, and field personnel relationships.
- Assist with capturing project photos, executed from start to finish.
- Assist with WIP updates throughout the month.
- Site specific support.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's Degree a plus.
- Excellent organizational and decision making/problem solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information.
- Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Effective time management through proper planning, organization, and ability to handle multiple initiatives at the same time
- Ability to plan, develop and coordinate multiple projects while meeting required deadlines.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- General office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
