Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Imaging IR Technologist position is available on a contract basis in Boerne, TX, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals with Cath Lab experience. This role requires a dedicated technologist with a strong background in interventional radiology diagnostic procedures and catheterization lab operations.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab settings
- Current ARRT certification and Texas Medical Board License
- Proficiency in operating Bi-Plane Imaging Suites
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to cover call nights and weekends as required
- Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform heart catheterizations, electrophysiology (EP) studies, and interventional radiology procedures within the Cath Lab
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment in the lab, ensuring high-quality diagnostic outputs
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver top-tier patient care
- Adhere to strict dress codes and unit policies, including wearing designated scrubs, managing visible body art, and following infection control guidelines
- Support floating assignments as needed per facility policy
