About the Opportunity


Our client is a rapidly growing professional services organization seeking an experienced People Partner (HR Business Partner) to join its People & Culture team. This position plays a key role in supporting regional offices while partnering on enterprise-wide HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic HR expertise and hands-on experience across employee relations, performance management, compliance, talent management, and HR operations.


This is a hybrid position requiring 3–4 days per week in the office, with periodic travel to regional offices as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems (Workday experience is a plus).
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Support onboarding and orientation programs to create a positive new hire experience.
  • Assist with employee integration and retention initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership to identify hiring needs and workforce planning strategies.
  • Participate in recruiting events and talent acquisition initiatives as needed.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to employees and managers.
  • Address employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching conversations, and performance improvement plans.

Compliance & HR Policy Administration

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with employee investigations, policy interpretation, and separation processes while maintaining confidentiality.

HR Operations

  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity while generating reports and supporting HR analytics.
  • Assist with HR process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Employee Engagement & Development

  • Support employee engagement, culture-building, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to identify training opportunities and career development programs.
  • Assist with company events, communications, and employee recognition initiatives.

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and other HR functions to support business objectives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support leadership decision-making.
  • Contribute to organizational change management and workforce planning initiatives.
