About the Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly growing professional services organization seeking an experienced People Partner (HR Business Partner) to join its People & Culture team. This position plays a key role in supporting regional offices while partnering on enterprise-wide HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic HR expertise and hands-on experience across employee relations, performance management, compliance, talent management, and HR operations.
This is a hybrid position requiring 3–4 days per week in the office, with periodic travel to regional offices as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of HR Generalist or HR Business Partner experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS/HCM systems (Workday experience is a plus).
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support onboarding and orientation programs to create a positive new hire experience.
- Assist with employee integration and retention initiatives.
- Partner with leadership to identify hiring needs and workforce planning strategies.
- Participate in recruiting events and talent acquisition initiatives as needed.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to employees and managers.
- Address employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, coaching conversations, and performance improvement plans.
Compliance & HR Policy Administration
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with employee investigations, policy interpretation, and separation processes while maintaining confidentiality.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity while generating reports and supporting HR analytics.
- Assist with HR process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Support employee engagement, culture-building, and inclusion initiatives.
- Partner with Learning & Development to identify training opportunities and career development programs.
- Assist with company events, communications, and employee recognition initiatives.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and other HR functions to support business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support leadership decision-making.
- Contribute to organizational change management and workforce planning initiatives.
