Stone Mason with Carpentry Skills

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stone Mason with carpentry experience to join our team. This role involves working with antique and architectural materials, including limestone, terracotta, and reclaimed elements, requiring both technical expertise and a strong eye for craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, shape, and install natural stone including limestone, marble, and concrete elements
• Assemble and repair architectural pieces such as fountains, planters, and garden structures
• Perform carpentry work including crating, structural supports, and custom wood fabrication
• Assist with restoration and stabilization of antique garden elements
• Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and installation requirements
• Ensure proper handling, lifting, and installation of heavy materials
• Collaborate with the team on custom installations and site-specific projects

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in stone masonry and basic to intermediate carpentry
• Strong understanding of materials such as limestone, terracotta, wood, and metal
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Experience with restoration or antique materials is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying conditions

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with garden installations, fountains, or architectural salvage
• Knowledge of adhesives, mortars, epoxies, and installation techniques
• Forklift or rigging experience is a plus

• Work includes both in-gallery preparation and on-site installation
