Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Specialist to design, coordinate, and implement comprehensive training programs that enhance employee performance and support business goals. This role focuses on onboarding new hires, upskilling current staff, and providing targeted one-on-one coaching where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires, existing team members, and individuals needing additional support.
  • Conduct orientation sessions focused on collections, customer service processes, and company protocols.
  • Create personalized coaching plans and provide relevant resources to facilitate employee success and continuous learning.
  • Identify training needs by analyzing business performance metrics and customer experience reports; collaborate with leadership to align training with strategic objectives.
  • Maintain and update training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policy documentation.
  • Enhance training effectiveness through innovative approaches, job-embedded support, and integration with daily operations.
  • Monitor and manage training-related costs to align with departmental financial goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and competitor benchmarks by engaging in professional development and networking.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement through activities such as group and individual call evaluations, quality calibrations, and mentoring.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive landscape and assist with training related to new product launches and service rollouts.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a call center environment, preferably in a training, supervisory, or collections-related role.
  • Hands-on experience with first-party and third-party collections is highly preferred.
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to effectively teach, motivate, and inspire team members.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a professional and engaging presence.
  • Elevated level of energy and enthusiasm, with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related productivity tools.

Education:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
