Are you a talented multi-tasker? The integrative medical office is looking for a positive and professional administrative assistant located in Northwest New Jersey. The practice manager is seeking to hire an organized dependable assistant to assist with administration, marketing, patient management, and other operations as needed. This position is part-time but can grow into a full-time position quickly. (Monday- Friday). Compensation:
$14 - $17 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Billing quality control. Assisting with preauthorization requests and insurance verification
- Manage scheduling for the CEO and Practice Manager
- Draft, review, and send communications on behalf of the CEO and Practice Manager
- Organize and prepare for meetings and events, including gathering documents, creating PowerPoint, and taking care of equipment necessary for the meetings.
- Answer and respond to phone calls, and communicate messages and information to the executives.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the practice Manager, CEO, and staff.
- Create, update, and maintain various records and documents
- Assist in the implementation of new procedures
- Assist with HR processes such as preparing the paperwork for hiring and termination
- Liaison for company vendors, maintaining payment dates and invoices
- Assist the front desk when necessary
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred
- High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent
- Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
- Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
- Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
