Location: Tehama, CA - Onsite 5 days a week.
Salary: $150k - 180k
Position Overview
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role will manage the accounting department and provide strategic financial guidance to support the companys growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the companys financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and forecast future financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
