Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Overview Work remotely to provide prehensive DHH instruction and support services to students with hearing impairments. You'll utilize advanced virtual classroom technology to deliver personalized instruction while collaborating with families and educational teams to ensure student success.
Educational Services
- Elementary foundational munication skills development
- Secondary academic support and transition planning
- American Sign Language instruction and development
- Auditory training and speech development services
- Assistive technology integration and training
- munication assessment and intervention planning
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs
- Provide direct instruction in munication modalities
- Coordinate with audiologists and speech-language pathologists
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches
- Collaborate with general education teachers for inclusion support
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reporting
- Facilitate family munication and support services
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education
- Valid Michigan DHH teaching license
- Minimum 2 years of direct DHH teaching experience
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- Strong virtual instruction capabilities
- Excellent technology skills and adaptability
