Lead Host – Modena Ristorante Vinoteca (Marietta, GA)
Modena Ristorante Vinoteca is a premium casual Italian restaurant located just outside downtown Marietta. Known for our handcrafted Italian cuisine, curated wine program, and elevated hospitality, we are seeking a polished and service-driven Lead Host to join our team. Must be available to work at least two shifts during the week and two shifts on the weekend.
Position Overview
As the Host/ Hostess you are the first and last impression of Modena. You will oversee the host stand, manage reservations and waitlists, coordinate seating flow with the FOH team, and help ensure every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival

Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists with efficiency and accuracy

Coordinate seating to maintain smooth service flow during high-volume shifts

Lead and support the host team

Communicate effectively with managers, servers, and kitchen staff

Maintain an organized, polished, and welcoming entrance area

Assist with guest requests, special accommodations, and service recovery when needed
Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience as a host in a high-volume restaurant required

Leadership experience preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to remain calm and professional during busy shifts

Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
