DSO Operations Manager

We are a growing, patient-focused Dental Support Organization (DSO) supporting multiple dental practices across our region. Our mission is to empower clinical teams by providing operational excellence, consistency, and leadership support—allowing providers to focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and support the daily operations of multiple dental practices in a general one hour radius of each other. This role is critical to driving performance, building strong teams, ensuring operational consistency, and supporting growth initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with a solid dental operations background who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide operational leadership and support to multiple dental practices
2. Partner with practice leaders and clinical leadership to drive workflow performance, efficiency, and patient experience
3. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards
4. Support daily staffing, hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts
5. Handle HR related conversations with team members including corrective counseling and provide information to HR department
6. Assist with schedule optimization
7. Lead management initiatives and support new workflows or programs
8. Conduct regular office visits, audits, and performance reviews
9. Serve as a liaison between field teams and executive leadership
10. Support practice growth initiatives
Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of dental practice management or multi-site dental operations experience
2. Previous background/experience as a dental assistant, understanding clinical procedures and supplies needed to perform daily procedures
3. Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
4. Strong understanding of efficient scheduling and clinical workflows
5. Excellent communication, organizational, operational and HR problem-solving skills
6. Comfortable traveling regularly between that counties’ locations
7. Proficient in dental practice management software and reporting tools
