HSG has an immediate opening for an All-Source Analyst - China supporting the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence (G-2), Department of the Army. The position is in the Washington, DC/Pentagon area. The position is full-time.

Responsibilities:
- Analyst must possess a strong background on Chinese geography, history, and culture. The analyst must be comfortable crafting and briefing products on such topics related to China as identified in the 2018 National Defense Strategy, including China as a strategic competitor, the One-Belt One-Road Initiative, and the militarization of the South China Sea. The analyst must possess extensive experience writing for and briefing senior leaders at the one through four-star level.
- Highly desired factors include a deep understanding of current and developmental regional weapons systems across the air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace domains. Examples include experience with anti-access/area-denial systems, hypersonic and anti-satellite weapons development, cyber-attack, and other emerging and disruptive technologies. Familiarity with regional efforts in big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is a plus.
- Must be able to research, analyze, evaluate, and execute studies, analyses, assessments, and technical reports, which may include the use of existing documents, databases, models, architectures, and simulations. Deliverables produced shall be in a variety of formats in response to a wide range of requirements and delivery schedules.
- Understanding of, and the ability to apply, advanced analytical methodologies against difficult, seemingly inexplicable, intelligence problems.
- Conduct research and draft detailed and/or short-fused studies, presentations, information papers, and decision papers for leadership.
- Knowledge of OUSD(I), Joint, DIA, and Army organization roles, missions, and functions

Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree; advanced intelligence discipline training; or other equivalent DoD or Service Intelligence experience. A degree in Chinese or Asian Cultural, History, or Language Studies is highly desired.
- Minimum Experience: At least 10 (ten) years as an intelligence analyst with experience from tactical to strategic intelligence. Experience as a staff action officer at the HQDA (DCS, G-2 preferred) or Joint (J-2 preferred) or OSD (OUSD(I) preferred) or a closely-related DOD organization/agency.
- Experience with the Foreign Disclosure process and the release of intelligence to FVEY and coalition partners.
- Strongly Desired: Broad understanding of the global threat environment with emphasis on the 2+3 as identified in the U.S. National Defense Strategy, e.g., Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and Violent Extremist Organizations.
