Job Description
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:-Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care.-Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards.-Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards.-Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR).-Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner.-Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies.-General Dentistry-Restoration and minor surgeries-Extractions
Qualifications:-DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited institution.-Unrestricted any state dental license.-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.-Minimum of 2 years of experience in general dentistry.
Requirements:-Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.Credentialing and fingerprinting required before starting.-Ability to work in Remote Areas and travel if necessary, with weather-related travel challenges expected at some locations.
Work Hours:-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 8 AM - 5 PM-Thursdays the facility is closed
