Position Summary: The Account Service Coordinator I is an introductory role within an inventory finance portfolio working closely with the Account Manager to assist in all operational aspects of the portfolio. Involves frequent interaction with manufacturer and dealer customers as well as internal sales and credit teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Customer Service – Provide prompt, professional and proficient assistance to customers (manufacturers and dealers). Includes, but not limited to, inquiries regarding monthly billing statements, account maintenance, inventory audit reconciliations, interest charges, and customer assistance in navigating NCF’s on-line account management system.

· Risk Mitigation & Collections – Assist AM in routine collection of principal and interest payments from dealers in the assigned portfolio. Communicate effectively with the AM regarding non-performing dealers.

· Pending Orders – Monitor new funding order requests and seek AM approval for release as needed.

· Clearance Calls – Receive and resolve clearance calls from Field Service Representatives and provide direction on the inventory audit process. Address collection issues and collateral discrepancies at the conclusion of the audit. Collaborate with AM regarding collection strategies.

· Administrative Duties – Research and clear suspense balances, process unit transfer requests, request administrative updates from the credit processing team on behalf of the AM, such as contact info updates, line suspensions and risk rating adjustments.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and policy and procedure manuals. Ability to draft customer facing emails and correspondence on a regular basis. Ability to communicate effectively via phone with a variety of manufacturer/dealer contacts.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as payoffs, discounts, interest, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Teams and database application systems
