Units/Areas: Children's Hospital Colorado South Campus, 3 year minimum required (must include pediatric experience)
Required License: ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist
Required Certifications: ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Technologist, BLS (AHA)
Required Skills: Skilled in high-quality pediatric diagnostic imaging; familiar with ALARA principles and radiation safety; proficient in CT physics, dose reduction, and Image Gently Campaign; experienced with IV placement, vascular access, and managing extravasation
Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
Schedule: 13 Weeks (March 17, 2026 - July 25, 2026); 12H Days, 7:00AM-7:30PM; On-call minimum 6 shifts per 8-week rotation
Setting, Bed count, Trauma Level: South Campus (Highlands Ranch); Pediatric Specialty
Equipment, Duties, Procedures: Produce diagnostic-quality imaging; manage urgent/STAT patient flow; maintain RIS, EMR, and PACS systems; safe contrast administration; utilize personal markers; work 20% shifts in secondary radiology modalities
EMR: Epic (standard for CHCO)
Short Description: All rad techs must provide and use own markers. Floating within 35 miles required as needed. No RTO approved during first two weeks. Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted). New travelers considered.
