Salary: 35-50 per hour
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting wellness and relaxation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing treatment environment.
- Educate clients on techniques for self-care and wellness maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques to enhance service offerings.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain professional ethics.
- Collaborate with other health professionals to support client care.
- Must be responsible for having own Liability Insurance
Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
- Proven experience in various massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to create a welcoming and calming atmosphere for clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
