Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Wilkes Barre, PA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide support for students throughout the school year on a contract basis. This role requires experience working in educational settings and holding current SLP certification.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills across a variety of speech and language disorders
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
