Summary:

Virtual is looking for a Salesforce System Administrator to assist a broad range of users, promote adoption, provide training and supporting material, client migrations to the platform, and on-going Salesforce platform administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to curiosity, learning and growth as our initiatives are dynamic and evolving. Supporting and troubleshooting against our tech stack (primarily focused on Microsoft and Salesforce and additional client applications), this is a great opportunity to join a growing and energized team of talented professionals.

Preference for local candidates to work out of our Wakefield, MA office 3 days/week.

We're looking for someone who has the ability to:

  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, distil high-level information into details, and reconcile conflicts
  • Assess the impact of new requirements on our custom Salesforce platform and all upstream/downstream applications, systems, and processes
  • Innovate and improve upon existing processes

Here's what you'll do:

Salesforce & general technical support & troubleshooting:

  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance for end users.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basis system errors, user account problems, connectivity issues and single sign on for employees.
  • Check password policies/run discovery to ensure security and mitigate risk.
  • Create and manage page layouts, record types, standard and custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules and custom workflows.
  • Build and manage dashboards, views, and reports using standard Salesforce reporting.
  • Perform data integrity and manipulation tasks.
  • Develop workflows and use Flow to automate manual processes.
  • Define object and field-level security.
  • Maintain profile & role hierarchies; establish permission sets and sharing rules.
  • Check Salesforce updates for API retirements/effect on our platform.
  • Support QA efforts including documentation and testing.
  • Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, changes and troubleshooting steps; provide end user training as necessary.

As our next Salesforce System Administrator, you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business Administration or related technical field
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Administrator certification preferred.
  • Moderate understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, templates and other content of intermediate complexity required.
  • Demonstrated data migration experience; ability to review data, map it into Virtual's Salesforce data structure and use ETL tools to upload.
  • Data cleanup methods and tools, including standardizing, verifying, de-duplicating.
  • Experience with testing and deploying changes via Salesforce Sandbox.
  • Experience with Microsoft.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle/prioritize simultaneous requests.
  • Motivated self-starter with excellent work ethic and team-first attitude required.

We Would Love It If You Also Bring:

  • Experience building SFDC communities and working with SFDC cases
  • Basic web development skills (HTML, CSS)
  • Exposure to FormAssembly and Conga Composer
  • Experience with end user support and managing a ticketing system

The target hiring range for this role is $65,000-$70,000 USD (annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors.
