Our behavioral health clinic is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (General or Child/Adolescent) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. This role offers the flexibility of part-time hours and the warmth of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment — the perfect blend for those looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.
🍂 The Main Course: Role Overview
Location: Onsite in San Jose, CA
Schedule: 16 hours per week (two 8-hour days or four 4-hour days; consistent each week)
Clinic Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Commitment: Minimum of 6 months
You’ll work with patients aged 5 and up (approximately 70% adults / 30% children & adolescents) presenting with developmental delays and co-occurring mental health diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and intermittent explosive disorder.
🥧 The Side Dishes: Key Details
Caseload: 8–12 patients per day
Appointment Lengths:
30–45 minutes for med checks and follow-ups
60–90 minutes for new evaluations (90 for child/adolescent)
Team: 13 Psychiatrists, 20 Therapists, 2 LVNs, Case Managers, Psych Techs, and 1 PNP
Reports To: Manager of Medical Operations
Onboarding: 30 days

Board Certification required (General Psychiatry acceptable; extensive experience may substitute)
EMR: Avatar
Licensure: Active Medicare and Medi-Cal numbers
Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese a plus, but not required
