Job Title: Registered Nurse – Stepdown / PCU

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Shift: Rotating Day/Night – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Stepdown/PCU assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a cardiovascular stepdown environment and may float to comparable units caring for similar patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown/PCU patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to facility protocols
• Float to comparable units as needed to support patient care operations

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments required
• Minimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience required
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred
• Current Ohio RN License or Compact State License required at submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications required (AHA preferred)
• Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills required
